We are planning to run another session of our popular course aimed at supporting LINk member-volunteers to carry out LINk’s work.
This session will raise awareness of the different perspectives and needs of people who use NHS and Social Care services. It will include practical tips on cultural awareness and how to communicate with disabled people effectively.
We are offering a choice of two dates/times but we aim to run one session – the one that most people can attend (we need at least 8 people to run the course cost effectively)
• 13th October at 9.30am – 1pm (followed by lunch)
• 19th October at 6pm – 8.30pm (starting with a buffet at 5.30pm)
The course will be held at a City Centre venue.
We will inform you of the final date and time as soon as possible.
Travel Expenses will be paid.
