Council website - does it work for you?

in

Coventry City Council has launched its new website.  Community Services (previously known as Social Services) has asked LINk to find out how easy the website is to use for people in Coventry.  Would you like to review a part of the website and give us your thoughts?........

Please do not think you cannot take part if your internet skills are not as good as you would like them to be.  Many people only use the internet occasionally, therefore web sites should be easy to navigate around!

To take part in this you will be given some scenarios, one like this for example:

'You have a parent in their 50's who, in your opinion, is not coping with everyday tasks.  You think they would benefit from some help.  How would you know where to find information about this on the Coventry City Council website?  How was your experience trying to find the information?'

We will ask you to give us your feedback on this in a questionnaire.

There will be a variety of scenarios like this one to explore.

Coventry LINk involves the local public to influence positive change.  It is aware that this is a very busy time of year for many people, LINk would be very greatful if you are able to offer anything between 2-6 hours between 1st September - 30th September.  This can be done at times to suit you, and and from your own home if you have internet access.

To take part, or for more information, please contact Louise Stratton at Coventry LINk on 024 7622 0381 or email l.stratton@vacoventry.org.uk

Your opinion matters to LINk
