Focus groups on HealthWatch

LINk is holding focus groups on the role of Local HealthWatch. We have been gathering ideas for how HealthWatch might work in Coventry for 6 months and ther have been some really interesting suggestions. The focus groups aim to consider some of these in more detail. We are looking for local people service users, carers and voluntary groups to take part. We are currently looking for a Project Officer to join our team here at Coventry LINk. They will support the successful work of Coventry LINk by facilitating LINk's volunteers to review local health and social care care services and reach out to local people so they can influence how services are delivered.

The Government has launched 'Caring for our future: shared ambitions for care and support' asking people who use care and support services, carers, local councils, care providers and the voluntary groups about the priorities for improving social care and support.  The discussion will inform a government White Paper on social care refrom.  Form more information visit: http://caringforourfuture.dh.gov.uk/
